I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy to treat anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I believe that the best way to take on life’s challenges is by developing skills that help us overcome obstacles between us and our goals. I help clients simultaneously develop confidence in who they currently are, while supporting them as they make big changes to improve their lives.
I studied Organizational Behavior as an undergraduate at BYU, while playing Football for 5 years and earning a degree in Business Administration. After working for start-ups for a couple years I moved to Washington DC and completed a Master’s degree in family therapy at the University of Maryland. I also have a MBA from BYU, which focused on people analytics and entrepreneurship.
As a therapist I’ve worked in community mental health centers and private practice. In addition to working as a therapist, I have spent the last 17 years working in internal and external consultant roles helping companies understand how they could become more profitable by taking better care of their employees and customers. I currently manage a regional construction company.
I enjoy learning and building things. Since converting a sprinter van several years ago I’ve spent most of my free time traveling to explore, climb, and canyoneer. I’ve visited every state and territory, and I’m currently working on trips to every country in the Americas.
