You deserve to feel connected and safe in your closest relationships. It is lonely, painful, and frustrating when those relationships aren’t going as you’d like. You may be confused about how to help a child who is struggling. You might wonder if you’re making the right choices for your child and you may even worry that you’re a bad parent. Or, maybe you feel disconnected from a partner. You long to feel close to the person you care about, but years of hurt and bottled up emotion make it difficult to know where to start.
I can help you. I will create an environment where you and your loved ones feel safe enough to share what you really feel. Together, we will identify patterns in your family that cause pain and we will work to change those patterns. I will help you work through difficult emotions, learn how to express them, and create acceptance for them.
I believe that all of us are just doing our best in the relationships we care about, even though we make mistakes. I recognize that coming to therapy takes bravery and vulnerability. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can have a voice, be heard, progress, and start the process of healing. I look forward to working with you.
